Daily life in Las Catalinas happens on foot. Cars stay at the edge of town, so the streets and plazas belong to people walking to the beach, to dinner or to a trailhead. The design leans Mediterranean, with narrow lanes, courtyards and colorful facades, and the surrounding dry forest is laced with trails for hiking and mountain biking.

Distances from Las Catalinas
Las Catalinas sits at the north end of the Potrero coast. Playa Potrero and Surfside are minutes away, and the Flamingo marina, Tamarindo and the airport are all within an easy drive.

Las Catalinas has a smaller, more curated market than the surrounding beach towns: condos, townhomes and villas in the town itself, and building lots in newer phases such as El Prado. There are currently 25 properties on the market.
