Life in Playa Flamingo: A Marina Town on the Gold Coast
Life in Playa Flamingo revolves around the beach and the marina. Mornings start on the sand, and afternoons often end on the water, with sportfishing, sailing and sunset cruises leaving from the marina. Evenings mean dinner with views back across the bay. It’s livelier than neighboring Potrero but still relaxed, with a mix of full-time residents, second-home owners and visitors.

Playa Flamingo sits at the center of this stretch of coast. Surfside, Playa Potrero, Brasilito and Las Catalinas are all within about 15 minutes, and Tamarindo and the airport are an easy drive.
